There are several reasons why you should be submitting press releases online. First and foremost, maybe you have exciting news that you want to tell the world about. Maybe you are running a big special on your products, or possibly lowering your service rate for a monthly special. There is even a chance you were on CNN Headline news and have a little bragging rights .
Secondly, you can use these press releases to get some great keyword packed content on the web, which could translate to search traffic. For example, if you search Black Bear Design, you will of course find our website, but you will also find press releases we have submitted. For that search phrase, we have 8 out of the top 10 spots in Google.
This brings me to the third reason, the links back to your site. You can put a link to your site in the press releases. Most of these sites are a Google PR 5 or better, which could increase the ranking and placement of your site in search engines as well.
So the question is, which press release sites do you use? Here is a list of a few of the free press release sites I have used.
PRLog.com
Great free press release site. Easy to use, great Google PR, and you get your own press room.
Submit press releases free, but they make you pay if you want to add clickable links.
Free site which does allow anchor links, but does not accept images. One of the great things about this site is that its a PR 6 with Google.
These are only a few of the free press release sites you may chose to use. For many more free press release sites, follow this link. This is a list of 62 know sites, as well as the pro’s and con’s of each. But please don’t forget to leave a comment before you go. We would love to hear if this post helped you find the information you were looking for on free press releases.

Thank you for this post. There are many lists out there, but most of the ones I’ve come across have sadly outdated information. Yours was useful, timely and helped put me on track.
Once again, thanks.

it is very difficult to find the free press release sites which allows links. I want to post my blog Shoes Pedia press release but couldn’t find backlink provided websites.
Most of the free press release websites offer free submission but after submission demands money for hyperlinks, I tried several times to submit my website’shot dip galvanized
steelpress release with backlinks but every time i get failed.
