Remember those shiny, gold trophies you got as a kid for winning the soccer championships or for making it to the softball tournament? Or those blue and gold ribbons for swimming your heart out? By now, you’ve probably put them in storage or flat out gotten rid of them. Here at Black Bear, we’re sentimental folk and really proud of our achievements, which is why our newest awards will be more than just wall art or just a piece of paper to place in a box in the attic.
The Big Guys of Design
Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) is a fifty plus year-old publication that shares the latest and greatest in the graphic design world. They publish news articles, impressive projects and highlight industry trends and up-and-coming designers. They are a graphic designer’s go-to spot for anything graphic design. So, really, they’re kind of a big deal. Winning an award from this prestigious publication is an awesome feat that we will happily brag about!

Competition is Fierce!Every year, GDUSA hosts their Graphic Design Awards competition to honor outstanding work in nearly every design category, including:
- Packaging
- Point-of-Purchase (P-O-P)
- Video
- Internet
- Animation
- Interactive
This year’s 53rd Graphic Design Awards were awarded to a select few designers, agencies, and businesses, and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of that list. We submitted a piece for logo, display, and infographic design and took home three awards! We work really hard to exceed not only our clients’ expectations, but our own as well, so we appreciate the recognition from one of the top design publications in the world. Congrats to us!
