Social Media Brand Awareness Campaign

Project Overview/Challenge:

GS Mining, a gold mine committed to the ethical development of its resources and the wellness of its surroundings in Central City, Colorado focuses on ethical, environmentally-friendly mining practices.

The client came to Black Bear Design to create awareness of the brand and highlight its modern, innovative take on mining. Our team created several social media campaigns including a two-month-long series of posts called Meet the Miner to introduce the average person to the eight miners who go to work every day 125 feet underground. With the goal of humanizing the brand, telling their story, and creating a connection with visitors, Meet the Miner was a resounding success.

In fact, the campaign was so successful, the content was also shared on the social media accounts of the sister brand, Moria Token.

Results:

  • Impressions on Facebook increased to 1.1 million
  • Engagement increased to 214.7 K
  • Best post interaction from photo content
