Full-Time Marketing Assistant Position

The Marketing Assistant will report directly to the Project Manager. This person will oversee projects as delegated by the senior team. The marketing assistant is responsible for the internal scheduling of meetings throughout the agency, coordinating marketing activities with clients. We are looking for someone who’s willing and interested in continually learning and improving themselves, who can maintain a positive attitude while working hard at a fast pace, and who understands the importance of relationships in a high-end customer-centric business. Each day the marketing assistant runs an internal status report, and follows up with client or department, as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a marketing position
  • Strong project management, communication and analytical skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to be flexible and precise under aggressive deadlines
  • Able to create strong partnerships throughout the organization. Promotes a team culture of good internal customer service and problem solving
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and support team on other projects that arise

Major Responsibilities

  • Work with sales team during the sales process for support with estimates and timelines, and may be called upon to meet with clients
  • Light Quickbooks/bookkeeping dutites
  • Go through mail and report payments through our system
  • Speak to clients on phone regarding late payments or invoices
  • Assist with management of social media and email marketing campaigns
  • Assist with writing, reviewing and publishing blog posts
  • Assist with developing proposals
  • Acquire quotes for print and promotional from vendors and prepare quotes to clients
  • Coordinate multiple projects and work requests
  • Scheduling sales and company meetings
  • Proactively communicates status, issues, and opportunities to the Senior Manager
  • Communicate with clients on statuses and items waiting approval or items needed from clients

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast moving environment
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with QuickBooks
  • 2 year’s light bookkeeping or relevant experience required
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new technology
  • Ability to type 35+ wpm
