The Account Manager/Coordinator will report directly to the Senior Manager. This person will oversee projects as delegated by the senior team.

This position has opportunity for advancement based on performance.

The Account Manager/Coordinator is responsible for the internal scheduling of work throughout the agency. The manager opens all jobs entering the agency and assigns a schedule of completion to each of those jobs as it is entered. Under the direction of the Senior Manager, the Account Manager coordinates movement of all jobs through all agency departments (account service, research/planning, media, creative, interactive/web, production). Each day the Account Manager runs an internal status report, and follows up with client or department, as needed. The Account Manager also tracks and may move jobs from one step of completion to the next. As changes in timing or scheduling take place, the Account Manager must be informed so an accurate schedule can be produced each day.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of four years experience and Bachelor’s Degree in related field, including generalist web, print or graphic design experience
  • Strong project management, communication and analytical skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to be flexible and precise under aggressive deadlines
  • Skilled at communicating design and technical concepts clearly and effectively to clients and transferring knowledge to development team/designers
  • Able to create strong partnerships throughout the organization. Promotes a team culture of good internal customer service and problem solving
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and support team on other projects that arise
  • Strong understanding of how to apply and integrate social media platforms
  • Must love to talk on the phone with clients and build trust

Responsibilities

  • Work with sales team during the sales process for support with estimates and timelines, and may be called upon to meet with clients
  • Resolve issues that might arise from scope creep or conflicts
  • Support Senior Manager on website development projects, creative development, client communications and monthly reporting
  • Assist with management of social media and email marketing campaigns
  • Assist with writing and publishing blog posts and press releases
  • Coordinate digital projects and present status updates to senior team
  • Directly contributes as well as oversees projects to meet deadlines
  • Coordinates multiple projects and work requests
  • Collaborates with other teams to define and enforce appropriate standards in user experience, brand expression, and quality assurance
  • Participates in the day-to-day project management and communicates directly with clients on project updates and recommendations as needed
  • Proactively communicates status, issues, and opportunities to the Senior Manager

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast moving environment
  • Knowledge and experience in cross-functional project management methods and techniques
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Skill in planning and preparing written communications (ie emails, presentations, blogs)
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
  • Experience scoping and creating project plans for websites and design projects
